Task Items

Task Items are not the actual tasks, but your task choices when creating a new Task in the system.   SI Lead Manager is preloaded with a handful of Task Items already, but you are able to add addition items as you need them.

How To

Create New Task Item

In order to create custom task items, you must create them in the system.

Step #1:  Open Task Item Manager

To create a new task item, enter into the Task Item Manager by clicking Task List under the Tasks Menu item

Step #2:  Click Create New…

Step #3:  Fill in New Task Item Form

Task_Item_Editor

Task:  The name of the new task item

Description:  a longer explanation of the task

Color:  the color that this tasks based on this task item will be tagged with in the calendar view

Step #4:  Click Save

Edit Task Item

To edit a task item…

Option #1:  Right Click Method

Right click on Task Item and select Edit…

Option #2:  Action Menu Method

Select Task Item that you wish to edit, then under Action Menu, click Edit…

Option #3:  Double Click Method

Double click on the Task Item you wish to edit

 

Delete Task Item

Deleting a Task Item is not recommended unless you know it has not been used.  Deleting a task item that has been used, will permanently delete all related Tasks as well.

To Delete a task item…

Option #1:  Right Click Method

Right click on Task Item and select Delete…

Option #2:  Action Menu Method

Select Task Item that you wish to edit, then under Action Menu, click Delete
